David Pearlman and Bernard Greene have left the rest of the field in the dust when it comes to the most important Select Board endorsements, according to a useful chart published by Brookline News.

Pearlman is the current School Committee chair. Greene is the current Select Board chair.

At a time when budgetary issues are more important than ever we need the proven leadership of Pearlman and Greene to navigate difficult financial waters in order to avoid future tax overrides that voters are unlikely to support.

Both are supported by PAX and Brookline by Design among other endorsers.
